This gave visitors the opportunity to learn firsthand about the use of thermography in building energy efficiency, the thermal storage capacity of phase-change materials (PCMs), and the applications of augmented reality in building energy management.\r\n\r\nThe objectives of this event are to bring researchers closer to the public so that they can learn about their work and the benefits they bring to society, as well as to encourage students to choose a scientific career by eliminating gender barriers. The event is held in more than 460 cities across the continent and is funded by the European Commission under the <a href=\"https:\/\/marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu\/about-msca\">Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)<\/a>\u2014an initiative to promote scientific careers in Europe\u2014which is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/find-funding\/eu-funding-programmes\/horizon-europe_es\">Horizon Europe<\/a>, the European Union\u2019s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.\r\n\r\nThe EHU is organizing this initiative within the context of the European project <a href=\"https:\/\/noche.uni-g9.net\/\">G9-SCIENCE4ALL<\/a>, promoted by the Group of 9 Universities (G9). This project focuses on the five research and innovation missions launched by the European Union with the aim of proposing solutions to major social problems around the world. These missions focus on Cancer, Climate Change Adaptation including Social Transformation, Water and Oceans, Smart and Climate-Neutral Cities, and Soil Health and Food.
