Researchers from ENEDI actively participate in the advanced training of students in this program.\r\n\r\nWith 31 <strong>students<\/strong> from <strong>around the world<\/strong>, the program combines research, innovation, and a strong international focus to address major urban challenges: energy, sustainability, digitalization, and governance.\r\n\r\n\ud83e\udd1d\u00a0<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">A master\u2019s program developed in <strong>collaboration<\/strong> with <strong>three other European universities<\/strong>, each contributing a key specialization for the development of smart cities:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">University of Mons (Belgium) \u2013 Sustainable urban planning, energy, and transport International<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Hellenic University (Greece) \u2013 Information and communication technologies<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">University of Vaasa (Finland) \u2013 Smart grid solutions<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">University of the Basque Country \u2013 Energy efficiency in buildings<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">At ENEDI, this participation reinforces our commitment to training international talent, connecting research and teaching, and transferring knowledge toward smarter, more efficient, and sustainable cities.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">This educational experience transcends the classroom, as demonstrated by this visit to the <strong>Smart City Expo World Congress<\/strong> (https:\/\/www.smartcityexpo.com\/), a trade fair specializing in <em>Smart Cities<\/em>, where learning connects directly with real-world innovation (Barcelona, \u200b\u200bNovember 2025).<\/span>\r\n\r\n\ud83d\udd17 More information about the master\u2019s program: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smaccs.eu\/\">https:\/\/www.smaccs.eu\/<\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udf0d\ud83c\udf93\u00a0This semester, the module held within the Erasmus Mundus Smart Cities and Communities (SMACCs) Master\u2019s program at the University of the Basque Country (EHU) has concluded.
